Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026, and Cyber Monday follows on Monday 30 November. Many Irish shops start their sales earlier in the week, and some run them for most of November.
Amazon has not announced its 2026 dates yet. Last year its Black Friday Week on amazon.ie ran from Thursday 20 November to Monday 1 December, announced on Thursday 13 November. This page will say so when Amazon confirms this year's.
amazon.ie shows prices in euro with Irish VAT included. Orders from amazon.co.uk ship from the UK, so they can carry extra charges on the way in, and its prices are in sterling. Compare the final price at checkout, delivery included.
Under Irish consumer law a shop that announces a price reduction has to show the lowest price it charged in the 30 days before, and base the discount on that. A crossed-out RRP is not proof. On Item.ie every product page shows the price history we recorded ourselves at Irish retailers, so you can see whether today's price is genuinely low.
An Post publishes its Christmas posting dates each year; last year the last day for parcels within Ireland was Tuesday 16 December. This page will carry this year's dates when An Post publishes them.
